Please note that the picture shows the cake with black ribbons, but you can choose any of the colours listed.

Description

Lambeth cakes traditionally feature delicate buttercream piping that gives the cake an elegant look which never goes out of fashion. This version also features ribbons (not edible) dotted around the sides with different colours available, to make the cake even fancier. This is a great choice as a showstopper for a birthday or to celebrate any occasion, and you can also add a heartfelt message to the cake. 

You can choose your preferred flavour for the filling, which comes with three sponge layers. The options are Carrot, Red Velvet, Plain Vanilla, Chocolate or Free from gluten Chocolate, Lemon or Victoria Sponge. 

Our decorators use traditional vanilla buttercream to cover the cake, or plant-based buttercream if you choose the vegan cake for the filling.

Cake Storage Instructions

Our cakes should be stored in the fridge and taken out about one hour before serving for best results.

Our cakes are freshly baked and should be consumed within seven days of collection or delivery. If in doubt, please check the Use By date on the bottom of the cake board.

Cake Serving Suggestions

Our Frosted cakes come in three different sizes and all give generous portions.

  • 7” cakes will serve 8 to 12 slices.
  • 10” cakes will serve 16 to 26 slices.
  • 12" cakes will serve 30 to 42 slices.

Our Cheesecakes come in two different sizes and all give generous portions.

  • 8” cakes will serve 8 to 10 slices.
  • 10” cakes will serve 12 to 20 slices.

Our Pies and Tarts cuts into 8 portions. 

If the cake is for a bigger party and smaller slices can be done, the numbers above will be slightly higher.

Before slicing the cake, we recommend that you heat up the knife by dipping it in hot water before wiping away any excess water.

Once the cake has been cut, we recommend that you consume the remaining cake within three days to prevent the inside going slightly dry.

Packing Information

Our products are packed in custom made, recyclable cardboard boxes that fit perfectly and prevent any movement during transit.
