Chess & Beyond - Eat Cake and play Chess!

Chess and cake both start with C. Coincidence? We think not.

Join us every first Thursday of the month from 6pm-8pm for after-hours chess at our Battersea café.

All levels welcome. Complete beginner? Great. Think you're the next Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgár? Also great. Everyone plays, everyone's welcome. Please note that we aim to keep it non-competitive, casual and friendly! 

No entry fee. Just buy something (cake, coffee, tea, whatever) and you're in.

We provide chess boards and clocks. Games are 30 minutes each (15-15 on the clock), so you'll get multiple games per evening.

No need to book. Just show up.
