A delicious cake with a playful design which will delight your guests or make a great surprise for a special birthday boy or girl. The fondant decorations that make up the cute giraffe face are lovingly handmade and incredibly detailed and our bakers are happy to add a heartfelt message of your choice to the cake board.
Our Gentle Giraffe cake is roughly 7" in diameter and consists of three layers of sponge cake which are lathered on smooth vanilla buttercream. Red Velvet, Victoria Sponge, Lemon,Double Chocolate, Carrot and plain Vanilla are all available to choose for the flavour.
This cake feeds approximately 10-14 people.

Cake Storage Instructions
Ourbirthday cakesshould be stored in the fridge and taken out about one hour before serving for best results.
Cakes with a fondant covering do not need to be stored in the fridge. Keep at room temperature in a cool, dry space instead.
Our cakes are freshly baked and should be consumed within seven days of collection or delivery. If in doubt, please check the Use By date on the bottom of the cake board.
Cake Serving Suggestions
Our cakes come in three different sizes and all give generous portions.
5” cakes will serve two to three slices.
7” cakes will serve 8 to 12 slices.
10” cakes will serve 16 to 20 slices.
If the cake is for a bigger party and smaller slices can be done, the numbers above will be slightly higher.
Before slicing the cake, we recommend that you heat up the knife by dipping it in hot water before wiping away any excess water.
Once the cake has been cut, we recommend that you consume the remaining cake within three days to prevent the inside going slightly dry.
