Description

Create a wedding centrepiece that’s truly your own with our Two-Tier Ombré Buttercream Wedding Cake. Finished in a smooth buttercream gradient in the colour of your choice, this elegant design is both timeless and eye-catching. Serving 32–45 guests, it’s perfect for celebrations big enough to need a second slice.

Please note that the picture shows the cake with green ombré to demonstrate the effect. You can choose your preferred colour. 

Each tier (8” and 10”) is baked with three generous sponge layers, and couples can choose from a selection of flavours and fillings, the options are Carrot, Lemon, Plain Vanilla, Chocolate, Red Velvet or Victoria Sponge. We also offer Gluten-free Chocolate and Vegan Victoria Sponge / Vanilla for this cake. 

For extra stability, our buttercream tiers are finished with a thin layer of white chocolate ganache (vegan cakes are coated in plant-based buttercream only).

Cake Storage Instructions

Our cakes should be stored in the fridge and taken out about one hour before serving for best results.

Our cakes are freshly baked and should be consumed within seven days of collection or delivery. If in doubt, please check the Use By date on the bottom of the cake board.

Cake Serving Suggestions

Our Frosted cakes come in three different sizes and all give generous portions.

  • 7” cakes will serve 8 to 12 slices.
  • 10” cakes will serve 16 to 26 slices.
  • 12" cakes will serve 30 to 42 slices.

Our Cheesecakes come in two different sizes and all give generous portions.

  • 8” cakes will serve 8 to 10 slices.
  • 10” cakes will serve 12 to 20 slices.

Our Pies and Tarts cuts into 8 portions. 

If the cake is for a bigger party and smaller slices can be done, the numbers above will be slightly higher.

Before slicing the cake, we recommend that you heat up the knife by dipping it in hot water before wiping away any excess water.

Once the cake has been cut, we recommend that you consume the remaining cake within three days to prevent the inside going slightly dry.

Packing Information

Our products are packed in custom made, recyclable cardboard boxes that fit perfectly and prevent any movement during transit.
