Our lovely Lemon & Elderflower Cake combines subtle elderflower flavour with zingy lemon. Perfect as a scrumptious treat to celebrate an event or special occasion or as a light dessert for a dinner party. Beautifully decorated with candied lemon and golden sprinkles.
Description
This scrumptious Celebration Cake consists of two layers of light and fluffy lemon soaked sponge finished with smooth elderflower and lemon mascarpone frosting. Our bakers use both juice and zest of fresh lemons for the sponge and add elderflower essence to the frosting to create this beautiful combination of flavours. A cake that contains this much lemon surely counts as one of your five a day?
Our Lemon & Elderflower Cake is freshly baked to order and you can collect your cake from our bakery in Battersea or choose London Delivery.

The lemon and elderflower cake was absolutely delightful—soft, moist, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The flavours tasted fresh and refined, clearly made with high-quality ingredients. It arrived in perfect condition and looked just as beautiful as it tasted.
We loved how the cake was not too sweet and the lemon wasn't too overpowering. Would be nice if the elderflower came through stronger. Will deffo try other cakes from Jack & Beyond she to the quality of the cake.

The cake looked wonderful, and the visual presentation was great. Flavour was incredible.
This lemon and elderflower cake was a big hit with everyone. It was light and beautiful, with just the right balance of sweetness and tanginess. The only suggestion would be to increase the elderflower flavour so it stands out more.

Delicious - not too sweet, perfect texture
We used this for our small, informal wedding reception. It was a big hit. The cake was both lovely (exactly like the photo) & had a delicious “homemade” taste”.
The “sponge” is more like “American cake” (though not as sweet), denser and closer to “pound cake” than light & airy (& that was far better in my opinion). The icing is dense, not a light tasteless cream as one so often gets & not the fondant no one wants to eat. The flavours were surprisingly delicate. It was a big hit.
The cake itself was delivered without an issue & there was plenty of communication. I’d definitely order from Jack & Beyond again.
