Description
Lambeth cakes traditionally feature delicate buttercream piping that gives the cake an elegant look which never goes out of fashion. This version also features black ribbons (not edible) dotted around the sides, as a contrast to the white buttercream and to make cake even fancier. This is a great choice as a showstopper for a birthday or to celebrate any occasion, and you can also add a heartfelt message to the cake.
You can choose your preferred flavour for the filling, which comes with three sponge layers. The options are Carrot (regular or vegan), Red Velvet, Plain Vanilla, Chocolate (free from gluten or regular), Lemon or Victoria Sponge.
Our decorators use traditional vanilla buttercream to cover the cake, or plant-based buttercream if you choose the vegan carrot cake for the filling.

Cake Storage Instructions
Our cakes should be stored in the fridge and taken out about one hour before serving for best results.
Cakes with a fondant covering do not need to be stored in the fridge. Keep at room temperature in a cool, dry space instead.
Our cakes are freshly baked and should be consumed within seven days of collection or delivery. If in doubt, please check the Use By date on the bottom of the cake board.
Cake Serving Suggestions
Our cakes come in three different sizes and all give generous portions.
- 7” cakes will serve 8 to 12 slices.
- 10” cakes will serve 16 to 20 slices.
- 12" cakes will serve 30 to 42 slices.
If the cake is for a bigger party and smaller slices can be done, the numbers above will be slightly higher.
Before slicing the cake, we recommend that you heat up the knife by dipping it in hot water before wiping away any excess water.
Once the cake has been cut, we recommend that you consume the remaining cake within three days to prevent the inside going slightly dry.
