I want to keep the figures as a memory, does the fondant go off?

Thanks for your question! Fondant does expire, but as its mainly sugar it can be stored indefintiely just not eaten after a while! However, it can get fragile as it dries and can break off, the best thing to do is wrap it up with some cling film before storing!
